Graphs and Charts

Excel’s charts functions is a powerful tool to translate numerical information in visual presentations that are easy to read at a glance. Charts can help identify trends and exceptions that are buried in the data and can easily communicate accounting results to non-accountants.

Objectives

Attendees will learn how to:

  + Create a basic pie, line and column/bar chart

  + Understand chart components

  + Manipulate data series supporting chart

  + Create line charts with multiple axis

  + Customize graphic elements of a chart

  + Add pictures as background or chart element
